SPECIFICATION FOR ESP CERAMIC MATERIAL
The 51A body is a high-grade aluminium-oxide porcelain (alumina-silicate material) typically according to C610 – IEC 60672-3. The material is especially developed for heavy-duty performance in demanding operating environments. It is excellent for continuous use at very high temperatures in direct current applications because of the high volume resistivity.
The material data are attained and presented in accordance with the IEC standards. The numerical values determined according to these tests apply only to the test specimens prescribed. These cannot be extended to test specimens and ceramic products of other shapes and dimensions or of other type of manufacture.
